Generate spawn commands for the Gigantopithecus below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. For a ready-to-ride Gigantopithecus, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
The Gigantopithecus is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.
Starting at 640 Health, it's solidly tanky. Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. Stamina sits at 300 base, providing decent staying power. Weight capacity starts at 220, giving it a reasonable inventory size.
The Gigantopithecus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Regular Kibble.
Once tamed, the Gigantopithecus earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Killing a wild Gigantopithecus yields 20 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.35 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
