Use the knockout chart to see exactly how many Tranq Arrows, Darts, or other torpor weapons it takes to down the Dire Bear. Space your shots to let torpor accumulate - rapid firing risks killing it before knockout.

To simplify the knockout, immobilize the Dire Bear first with Chain Bola or Bear Trap. A Quetzal can also pick it up and drop it into a taming pen for a controlled knockout.
