More about the Carnotaurus
The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Carnotaurus with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Carnotaurus immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Carnotaurus is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the DMG classification.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Carnotaurus brings respectable melee power to the table. With 420 base Health, the Carnotaurus is moderately tough. Stamina sits at 300 base, providing moderate endurance. It carries 300 base Weight - good carrying capacity.
Taming the Carnotaurus requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Regular Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
As a tame, the Carnotaurus is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 26°C and 32°C. A wild Carnotaurus is worth 18 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.26 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
