ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Aberrant Araneo immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Aberrant Araneo is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.
At 192 base HP, the Aberrant Araneo is not particularly tanky. Dealing 106% base Melee Damage, the Aberrant Araneo brings decent hitting power to the table. With 150 base Stamina, the Aberrant Araneo has decent staying power. It carries 150 base Weight - average weight tolerance.
Taming the Aberrant Araneo requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. For best results, use Superior Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
Once tamed, the Aberrant Araneo earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 4°C and 12°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.04 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
