The Bard (NIGHTMARE) (0.2.0.4)A bard build with your Banjo as the centerpiece! - Banjo heal speed scales with your attack speed, most jokers in this build cover that and some survivability, this way you can stay more time in the midst of battle doing you job - Long Ranger for cooldown reduction - Hitting Bandito generates Chord Stacks, do this to never run out of Chords - Rescue for emergency heals and resurrections - Use Boing to get out of bad spots and to get closer to your allies.+3
pullin on my lever: infinite jokers + schmovin fast, zero prestige requiredhigh aoe for nightmare, with utility spells + heal/revive 3rd slot depending on solo/coop. designed to be constantly moving fast with high sustain. zero hero prestige required.+3

How it plays

Playbook

Heal or revive the nearest ally. Rescue is the core co-op support spell - it locates the closest teammate automatically and either tops them up or brings them back from a downed state, whichever is needed. Simple, reliable, and sometimes the only reason a run continues.

Strategy

In co-op builds, keep Rescue available and use it the moment an ally is downed. The heal component is useful between wave phases but the revive is where it earns its slot. In solo play it's redundant - Drain covers sustain without requiring a target.

Strengths

Automatic target selection - no aiming required
Revives downed allies, which can save an entire run
Reliable sustained healing for co-op teams

Weaknesses

No value in solo play where no ally targets exist
Long cooldown means you can't rescue on every downed state
