How it plays

Playbook

The Pyro school's starter and its most reliable spell. A fireball that explodes on impact, leaves burning ground, and deals 60 damage on impact. The ground fire is the real asset - it stays, it damages, and it sets up Surcharge detonations.

Strategy

Lead shots into enemy movement paths so targets walk through the burning ground rather than around the explosion. The fire patch is where the sustained damage lives. Fireball into Surcharge is one of the cleanest burst combos in the game: the fire patch ignites everything, then Surcharge detonates it all at once.

Burning ground patch provides sustained area denial
15 second cooldown, the shortest in the Pyro school

Moving enemies can step out of the burning patch quickly
