Battery AcidAmple mobility, and some crowd control. Most of your time spent will be hopping around, but getting aggressive with swap and acid thrower combo is also part of your bread and butter. Don't forget swap can also be used as a movement tool!+17
Jump Shock TrooperLow gravity, jump pack like, with a rapid fire pellet dispenser and quick cast aoe dot and healing spells to mop up heavies, hordes, and haunted houses interchangeably.+4
No Bullets, No Problem!Have you ever been up to your eyes in Cryptics, only to have no bullets in either gun? Well, this build does away with all of it! No Bullets, No Problem! (NBNP) is for those who struggle in the resource management department with the Knuckles and Boomerang! Worried about getting hurt from beating undead monsters with your fists? Toss down a Healing Area for you and the posse!+2
shotgun wizard wit' a boomerang blenderits a build. complete non-sense but it works and cant hold its own! great for solo and team play, extremely flexible some jokers and spells can be swapped out if need be! dealers choice kinda thing. never stop moving never stop shooting and youll never stop healing, great blend of offense and defense able to keep ya goin through the thick of it, and comes with a built in get out of jail free card if worse comes to worse!+2
Jibber Jabber's Quad CylinderSince no one uses Quad Cylinder correctly (also because I wanted to fool around with the default build).+2
Nightmare Minigunner (Solo)+1

How it plays

Playbook

The entry point for Acid and the most hands-on spell in the school. The Thrower lobs jets that leave corrosive puddles wherever they land, ticking away at anything standing in them. The damage per tick is modest, but puddles stack with weapon elements and set up every Acid combo in the book.

Strategy

Lay puddles at chokepoints before enemies arrive, then fire through them with an elemental weapon for combo triggers. The Thrower's 30 second cooldown, the shortest in the school, means you can refresh puddle coverage more often than any other Acid spell. Great with an elemental weapon for sustained combo uptime.

Strengths

Lowest cooldown in the Acid school
Puddles stack with weapon elements for combo setups
Consistent corrosive uptime on grouped enemies

Weaknesses

Low individual hit damage - it's a setup tool, not a closer
Puddles require enemies to stand still to get full value
