Lights are the most common type of luminescent bug. They resemble spiders with light bulbs for an abdomen and twisted wires for legs.
They cannot see or smell, instead relying on vibrations to sense their prey, which typically includes other arthropods and small mammals, which they lure in with their glowing abdomens. However, they will also form swarms to attack prey much larger than themselves.
Lights are temperamental and ferocious. If they feel cornered, they will detonate their abdomens without hesitation to take their enemy down with them.
