How this tame works

  1. Only fertilized eggs work. It ignores unfertilized ones completely.
  2. A better egg wins twice: fewer eggs, and less effectiveness lost on each. 32 of them already give the full 500 progress, and the rule is simple: any egg from a species that itself needs 3,500 progress or more hits that maximum. Use whichever of those is cheapest to get.
  3. Drop the eggs near it and wait. It picks one up every 20 seconds.

More about taming the Titanoboa

Found throughout the ARKs, the Titanoboa is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.

With 100% base Melee Damage, the Titanoboa has solid damage output. At 170 base HP, the Titanoboa is not particularly tanky. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing average stamina. Weight capacity starts at 150, giving it modest carrying capacity.

As a tame, the Titanoboa is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Defeating one in the wild grants 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0 Element plus 0 Element per level.
