I first thought it was just the wind. But every night, the voice became clearer and clearer.
"Turn back... This is the realm of the Gyldenlord."
"Turn back, or meet your maker..."
Captain Vesper wants results. However, we haven't found any gold, and my men are falling one by one. My turn must be up next...
Some nights, armored corpses surround me in my dreams... and I see myself reflected in their hollow eyes. Death has come for me.
"Guard the door."
"Obey the general."
I am neither a soldier nor a loyal servant, and still I cannot escape their gaze.
I am no longer a Sergeant of the Dark Blades.
Forgive me...or better yet, forget me. I will join them in front of this door.
I will not let anyone pass.
