Despite Harald's warning, you've decided to see the truth for yourself. Approach the shipwreck.

Taking the quest

HaraldYou here to see the wreck, too? Ugh, can't tell if you're reckless or just stupid.
YouPlease tell me about the shipwreck.
HaraldAnd what exactly would you do about it? Doesn't look like you can solve anything. Stay away from the wreck unless you want those rotten corpses to tear you apart! Ha! And get this—Ian keeps crawling back even after dying!
YouSo you want me to defeat the corpse?
HaraldHmph, that alone won't settle things. If you want to put his spirit to rest, he needs a proper funeral. His body's long gone...probably fish food by now. We'll have to make do with what he left behind.
YouSo I just need to bring the item?
HaraldRight. Bring it back, and leave the rest to your friendly local funeral expert.
