Taking the quest
MedelynAt first, I suspected the Cult of Eternity. We've been pursuing them for some time. But the traces left on the seal belonged to a Dobavion. A shaman who serves the Akasch.
- YouWhy here?
MedelynHaje is the god of seals and keys. His power still lies dormant within this temple, so naturally, those who serve beings from another world would see it as a threat. They've placed cursed totems at three towers scattered across Reedwind.
- YouSo should I just destroy the totems?
MedelynBrute force won't work. Curses like these are always bound by certain conditions. Think of it as a lock. So I prepared a key. I dealt with one of the Spectral Revenants wandering these lands and reforged one of its possessions. It's the Dagger of Dawn. Drive it into the totems to destroy them.
- YouAlright. Leave it to me.
MedelynIt seems we've gained ourselves a reliable ally. There are three towers. One is across the bridge north of the Oracle of Haje, another behind the intact Tower of Haje, and the last behind the Crimson Watch camp. There were once five Towers of Haje, apparently, but those are the only ones still standing. When you get close, you'll feel it...like needles on your skin. That's the curse. You'll know it right away. I'll wait here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
Finishing the quest
MedelynI've been waiting for you. How did it go?
- YouAll the seals have been broken.
MedelynI knew it...! I felt the curse lift from here as well. A Dobavion shaman went to great lengths to place those seals... You're quite skilled. Thank you for your help. All that's left now is to ring the bell at the Oracle of Haje. Traditionally, anyone seeking to enter Haje's Temple would first ring the bell at the Oracle of Haje. It served both as a sign that you'd come seeking a prophecy and as a gesture of respect to the god. I'll leave the honor of entering Haje's Temple for the first time to you, [your name]. Your accomplishments alone are worthy of such an honor.
