Steps

Find Roldan of the Antiquary Society to learn about Nui's Tears. Then visit Priest Marito to hear the tale of Nui's lover.

During the quest

RoldanTo what do I owe the pleasure? Or were you just looking for some company?
YouDo you know what Nui's Tears are?
RoldanOf course. They say the tears were created when Nui cried for the world. There are also stories that say the tears were actually shed out of love.
YouIs this the opinion of the Antiquary Society?
RoldanWell, researchers are still trying to figure it out. After all, no one really knows the full truth.
YouSo, what do you personally think?
RoldanIt makes the gods seem more relatable, like they're not so different from us. If you have more questions, I'd recommend talking to a Nuian priest. You should be able to find one nearby.

Finishing the quest

MaritoDo you wish to pray? Nui will listen to your prayers.
YouWhat is Nui's Tear?
MaritoTo us priests, it's a symbol of Nui's power and a sacred reminder of her sacrifice.
YouThere's even a legend that Nui shed tears thinking of her lover.
MaritoA lover? (chuckle) That's certainly an interesting tale. Try getting a blessing from Priest Kieran. It will help you understand why the goddess wept for us.
