JenniferIndeed. I'd love to knock some sense into him, but given these circumstances...it'll suffice that he lives. If only I knew my husband's fate...
YouDid something happen?
Jennifer(sigh) A traveler came by a few days ago, much like yourself. He claimed to be a Royal Army officer from Seaglass Harbor... named Edward. He offered his aid after he heard what befell us. My husband thanked him and asked if he could help...which spelled our disaster.

JenniferOut of nowhere, he conscripted my husband as some sort of soldier and dragged him away! Neither has returned since... I pray to the gods he's unharmed!

JenniferThere's a cave along the shoreline. It used to be no more than crumbling ruins, but the pirates have made it their stronghold.

JenniferHis name is Renald. As for his appearance... folk always said he had kind eyes.

During the quest

RenaldAah! Wh-Who goes there?!
YouYour wife, Jennifer, sent me.
RenaldWh-What?! You've met Jennifer? She's alright, yes? Is she safe?
YouYes, she's safe.
Renald(sigh) I'd better find him fast so I can return home.
YouThe Royal Army officer? / Are you talking about Officer Edward?
RenaldYes, th-that's him! Do you think you could find him for me?
YouTell me what happened first.
Renald(sigh) It all happened a few days ago. An officer of the Royal Army named Edward came to the village. He then had the gall to conscript all the men in the village as honorary soldiers...then dragged us off to this damn hideout! But the moment the pirates spotted us, he ran off on his own!
YouWhy do you have to find him?
RenaldIf something were to happen to him... The village would take the blame. That's even more terrifying than these pirates... Please, I can't find him alone. Will you help me?
JenniferDid you find my Renald? Or is there something else you seek?
YouCan you tell me what happened again?
