The shores around Seaglass Beach are rough, crawling with pirates and smugglers. A veteran hunter warns that starving greenhorn pioneers make easy prey in these parts. Use the hunting knife he gave you to hunt wild animals and skin them. Prove you have what it takes to survive in Auroria.

Taking the quest

HerleiMeat or leather, take your pick.
YouAnything else I should know?
HerleiWhat? You want me to teach you something else? The hell... Hah. Can't tell if you're just green or a damn fool.
YouI'd appreciate it if you could teach me something useful.
Herlei(sigh) Fine. Might as well show you a thing or two about dressing a kill. First things first, take this hunting knife. No use handling prey without the right tool. Once you've got your kill, use the knife to skin it and carve out the meat. Simple as that.
YouSo I should always carry a hunting knife.
HerleiThat's right. Prepare your meat well and you've got yourself a fine meal over the fire. Could also earn you some coin. Keep that in mind.
YouAlright.
HerleiGive it a go. You'll learn faster by doing. Hunt a mountain goat or buffalo nearby and bring me the raw meat. Let's see if you've got any chops.
YouOkay. I'll be back.
